When a selection is active, the Refine Selection button in the option bar is
activated which allows fine tuning of the selection's edge. Edge Detection,
using Smart Radius, creates an accurate edge based on edge hardness/
softness. In Adjust Edge, further changes can be made using Smooth,
Feather, Contrast, and Shift Edge. In Output, the Decontaminate Colors
option removes color fringe from the image and offers the option of saving
the selection as a layer mask, new layer, or new document. You can also use
Truer Edge selection for the most difficult components to refine, such as hair.
