9. Hold Shift and select the Vector layer so that both layers are selected.
Press Cmd+T to invoke Free Transform mode. Hold Shift+Opt and
drag any one of the corner transformation handles outward to scale
the layers from their common center while maintaining their pro-
portions until they fill the canvas. Position the cursor inside the
transformation bounding box and drag to center both objects on the
canvas (see Figure 5.4). Click the Commit Transform button on the
right end of the options bar.

The vector object (red light bulb) can be scaled up or down to any size with-
out loss of quality because its shape is based on a mathematical representation
created with the drawing tools you will learn about in the next section. The blue
light bulb, on the other hand, was rasterized at a small size so it looks pixelated
when enlarged almost 10 times.
