you have finished, click on the tab labeled Viewer .
A.5.2 VIEWER TAB
FigureA2showsthewindowthatisdisplayedonthe Viewer tab. Our con-
cern is with the left panel labeled Initial Output State . In the drop-down
menu where Log is presently shown are about nine items, including Wa r n -
ings , Notes , Title and so forth. For each item, make sure that the choice
of Contents are initially is set to Shown . You can leave the Justification
choices at the SPSS defaults.
A.5.3 OUTPUT LABELS TAB
Click on the Output Labels tab. Focus on the bottom set of choices in the
Pivot Table Labeling area. SPSS places the output of statistical analyses in
neatly organized tables called pivot tables . To make these tables as readable
as possible when you are viewing the output, select Names and Labels
on the drop-down menu for Variables in labels shown as ,andselect
Values and Labels on the drop-down menu for Variable values in labels
shown as . This is illustrated in Figure A3. Then click OK to register all
of these preferences with SPSS. You may see an output confirming that
