The options contained within the Contact Sheet dialog allow the user to select the number of
columns of image thumbnails and the content of the text labels that are added. The page size
and orientation can be chosen via the Page Setup button.
Contact Sheet workflow:
1 If working in the Editor workspace, open the images to be printed; otherwise
multi-select the pictures from inside the Organizer.
2 Select File > Print and choose Contact Sheet from the Type of Print menu.
If you are working in the Editor space this action will transfer you to the
Organizer and open another version of the Print dialog there.
3 Use the Add and Remove Photos buttons to adjust the list of pictures to be
included in the contact sheet.
4 Select the printer from the drop-down list in section 1 of the dialog. If need
be, change the Printer Settings and Paper Size values.
5 With Contact Sheet selected from the drop-down list of print types, a
Select a Layout option is displayed. Here you can choose the number of col-
umns to use (and therefore the total number of thumbnails to be placed on a
single sheet) and select if any text, such as file names, captions or date, is to
be included alongside the thumbnails.
7 Click Print to output the contact sheet.

Picture packages
At some stage in your digital imaging career you will receive a request for multiple prints of
a single image. The picture might be the only shot available of the winning goal from the lo-
cal football match, or a very, very cute picture of your daughter blowing out the candles on
her birthday cake, but whatever the story, multiple requests mean time spent printing the
same image. Adobe included the Picture Package feature in its Elements to save you from
such scenarios. The feature is part of the Print dialog and can be selected from the Type of
Print section.
