AutoCAD will automatically present a new tab called
Text Editor
(that
will disappear when you are done with this command), which looks like the
following:
°
A blinking cursor will appear in the text editor so you can type your desired
text. Using the
Text Editor
tab, you can format the text as you wish.
If you created a text style (highly recommended), then at the left part
of the tab you will see the name of the current text style along with the
height.
In order to format any text, you should select it fi rst just as you would in
Microsoft Word.

Use the
Formatting
panel to change any or all of the following:
Change the text to be
Bold
.
Change the text to be
Italic
.
Change the text to be
Underlined
.
Change the text to be
Overlined
.
