FILLETING OBJECTS
Exercise 17
1. Start AutoCAD 2010.
2. Open the fi le Exercise_17.dwg .
3. Using the Fillet command, perform the following steps:
a. Set the radius = 0.5.
b. Set the mode = Trim .

Fillet the four edges to make the shape look like the following:

a. Mode = No Trim .
b. Set Fillet to be Multiple .

Fillet the lines to get the following shape:
7. Save the fi le and close it.
4.4 THE CHAMFER COMMAND

The Chamfer command is, in many ways, identical to the Fillet command,
except that it creates a slanted edge rather than an arc.
To create the slanted edge, we will use one of two methods:
Two distances
Length and angle
