Sugar and spice and all things nice is what you get at this pocket-sized organic bakery,
owned by the founding father of the New Nordic food movement, Claus Meyer. Only flour
produced in-house is good enough for these sticky morsels, among them golden apple
croissants, blåbærsnurrer (blueberry twists), and a luscious kanelsnægel (cinnamon snail)
laced with remonce (creamed butter and sugar filling).
You'll find another outlet in the basement of department store Magasin .

It might look like a Vogue photo shoot with its white-on-white interior, black-clad staff,
and impossibly beautiful clientele, but Atelier September is very much a cafe. Kitted out
with art, erudite magazines, and colourful crockery, it peddles gorgeous espresso and a
short list of simple, inspired edibles. Standouts include sliced avocado on rye bread,
topped with lemon zest, chives, paprika and peppery olive oil.

Hay-designed chairs, flickering tea lights, and piles of fashion mags - in Denmark, even
yoghurt vendors make style editors weep. Join fashionistas and the virtuous as you decide
just how to customise your yoghurt treat. Skyr, Greek and lactose-free yoghurt?
Raspberry-ginger puree or strawberry-chilli puree? Granola topping, or fresh fruit and
nuts? First World problems never tasted so good.
