Let's add your decal to the face of the fan blade:
1. You can fi nd the Decal tool by expanding the Create panel of the
Model tab. It's the only hidden Create tool. Click the icon.
2. With Wrap to Face deselected, click the image fi le, and then pick the
curved face behind it.
3. Click OK to create the decal, as shown in Figure 8.53.

4. Save the fi le.
You're fi nished building your fan blade. Let's place it in the assembly.
5. In the Browser, right-click the icon for Fan Blade.ipt , and select
Copy from the context menu.
6. Switch to the fan assembly.
7. In an open part of the Design window, right-click, and select Paste
from the menu. This inserts an instance of the fan blade into the
assembly.
8. Apply an Insert constraint between the bottom of the hole in the boss
of the fan blade and the end of the shaft.
9. Apply an Angular constraint between the YZ plane of the fan blade
and the right side of the housing, as shown in Figure 8.54.
