Occupying a prime quayside position, this hotel is immediately recognisable by its tall
spire resembling a ship's mast. It sometimes swallows as many as five tour groups per day
so summer reservations are advisable. Almost half of its attractive rooms, including many
singles, have superb views of the sound, and a recent expansion and overhaul of some
rooms has added to the appeal.
