A well-equipped budget option, this staffless choice occupies an apartment complex and
offers rooms that have two single beds and a funky desk; they share a decent bathroom,
pleasant lounge area and proper kitchen between two. It's a better option if you've got
transport, as you must check in and out at Hullu Poro hotel, 2km down the road. HI dis-

The friendly, informal 'Crazy Reindeer' is an enormous complex that has every kind of
room you can imagine, with family suites, apartments and rooms with private sauna; there
are various restaurants and a spa complex. It's a lot cheaper in summer.

Halfway up the slopes, with a great ski-in-ski-out area downstairs, this stylish hotel has
brilliant rooms with lots of space, modish furniture, big photos of Lapland wildlife and
views over the pistes. Superiors add a balcony but most look the other way. The bar has a
sensational outlook. You can nip up and down to town on the gondola. It's top value in
summer.

Right opposite the tourist office, this sleek, modern hotel has excellent rooms; most come
with sauna and glassed-in balcony, or otherwise a Jacuzzi. There are also good family
rooms and classy holiday apartments. Numerous facilities include drying cupboards in all
the rooms and a gym.
