Among Finland's most enchanting boutique hotels, this exquisite spot has lavishly decor-
ated rooms, all individually designed in markedly different styles. Service is warm and
welcoming with an assured personal touch - including a welcome drink - that makes for a
delightful stay. Renovating and improving is always going on here so standards are kept
high. Suites offer excellent value.
Hotelli Milton HOTEL

Right in the thick of things, this family-run hotel has an old-fashioned dark foyer, but the
modern rooms offer plenty of natural light, space and attractive wooden floors; most have
a balcony. An evening sauna on weekdays is included and it's very handy for the bus and
train stations. Weekend prices are great (s/d €65/85).
Hotelli Alba HOTEL

)
Within the university campus, this hotel is right by the water, and the terrace of its bar-res-
taurant takes full advantage. Telescopic corridors lead onto unremarkable compact rooms,
but the view from those facing the water compensates; you could fish out of the windows.
Junior suites are much more spacious, and come with a sauna. Summer and weekend
prices are good.
Omenahotelli HOTEL

Central reception-less hotel. One of the better of the chain, with comfortable beds and end-
less corridors. Book online or via the lobby terminal.
