brought a touch of culinary sophistication to the city. Local lakefish and crustaceans ap-
pear alongside hearty meat dishes, and the odd vegetarian option. The food's not as gour-
met as it thinks it is, but it's easily Lahti's best.

Look for the brick chimney by Sibeliustalo to find this appealing harbourside restaurant,
boasting a summertime deck with great water views. Dishes combine a few Spanish and
Asian influences with typically Finnish ingredients with some success; it's refreshingly

This good-natured place sits above the stills that produce Teerenpeli's single malt, so it's
