Getting There & Away
BOAT
Boats travel from Lahti to Jyväskylä on Tuesday.
BUS
There are regular buses from Helsinki (€24, 1½ hours), and frequent services from other
large cities. There are also hourly buses to Helsinki airport.
TRAIN
Numerous direct trains run daily to/from Helsinki (€26.90, one hour) and Riihimäki,
where you can change for Tampere. It's substantially cheaper from Helsinki if you don't
catch an Intercity train.
