This large eatery serves decent vegan food, much of it organic. Near Hakaniemi market,
it's a buffet and you pay by weight (the food's). Soups are cheaper and it opens earlier in
the morning for tasty smoothies.

With a range of tasty fillings, this deli makes an ideal ciabatta grab, and also offers panini,
salads, authentic strong coffee plus a selection of slices. The sultry aroma of the beans
alone makes it worth hanging around.
Kuu

Tucked away on a corner behind the Crowne Plaza hotel on Mannerheimintie, this is an
excellent choice for both traditional and modern Finnish fare. The short menu is divided
between the two; innovation and classy presentation drive the contemporary dishes, while
quality ingredients and exceptional flavour are keys to success throughout. Wines are very
pricey, but at least there are some interesting choices.
Don't confuse with another (good) place, Kuu Kuu, not far away.
Sea Horse

Sea Horse dates back to the 1930s and is as traditional a Finnish restaurant as you'll find
anywhere. Locals gather in the gloriously unchanged interior to meet and drink over hefty
dishes of Baltic herring, Finnish meatballs, liver and cabbage rolls.
