On the Map Logins and Users screen, we will choose MDW_Collector at Users
mapped to login, select
mdw_admin
database role membership for
1445_MDW
database, and then click Next to continue.
If, a login is not available for data collection,
we can click on the New Login button to
create the login for the MDW database.

The next screen is an informational screen to complete the Wizard. Click Finish to
perform the selected actions.

At the Configure Data Collection Wizard progress screen, the successful completion
will present a Success status. Click on Report to save the actions to a file or Send
Report as Email.
This completes the configuration to create a MDW database. Now, let us configure the
instance to start collecting data to the existing MDW database by using the Setup the data
collection option.
