risk. It is recommended to perform this evaluation of technical risk always by the same person
team, to
/
reduce the human subjectivity factor. This method is based on the inductive principles.
8.3.1 Application and Purpose
The main application area for this method is human risks. This method integrates several basic
components of human factor analysis and also enables the classification of risk level of the
working area and the working subject. It is applicable in all stages of technical life of the observed
system. This method is suitable for determination of
immediate measures but not
for global
complex solutions.
8.3.2 Procedure for Risk Evaluation
This is a very suitable method for the evaluation of technical risk, which includes and takes into consider-
ation not only technical but also ergonomic criteria. It is based on the point evaluation of all-important
risk factors.
This method consists of the following steps:
. Computation of risk caused by technical device, that is, risk factor of machine M
. Computation of environment influences, that is, risk factor of environment U
. Computation of human factor, that is, risk factor of person P
. Computation of final risk value R
. Decision about the risk acceptability
. Suggestion and realization of necessary measures
Using the above-mentioned designation — M, U, P, R — the final risk value is given as:
