Therefore, we obtained the technical -human combined risk values or levels. These levels are only the
primary and preliminary information for the designer. But this information is very important for all
the successive steps of detailed technical risk analysis.

8.3 Complex Method of Risk Evaluation in the Workplace

This method of the risk evaluation directly in the workplace was developed in the section Machines Safety
IVSS — working group for mechanical, physical and chemical risk [3]. Current praxis in small and
medium companies needs such methods for risk evaluation, which are not expensive from both time
and knowledge point of view. Such a method must be very simple and easy. Several components of
the whole system can be neglected and the other components are very important and necessary.
System in this meaning is one complex of components, which performs various functions. The principle
of this method consists in point evaluation of each important factor of the final risk level. After the point
evaluation of each component is computed, the final risk value is compared with the value of acceptable
