Dynamic Labels on Dashboards
We can do two things to address this deficiency: we can add a Sheet that shows the current
year, and we can add titles to the Sheets that include the current year.
To create a Sheet that will serve as a year label, do the following:
1. Add a new Sheet to the workbook.
2. Drag the Year Dimension onto the Text card.
3. Filter the text to just one year by dragging Year to the Filter shelf and selecting one
year from the list.
4. Click on the Text card and format the year label to give it added prominence.
5. Right-click and remove the Row and Column dividers as we did earlier with the Info
icon Sheet. The Sheet now appears as shown in
Figure 13-24
.
