Now, to add this dynamic year label Sheet (I renamed it
Selected Year
) to the Dashboard,
drag it in floating fashion to a suitable location on the Dashboard, resize it and fit it to the en-
tire width, and give it the title you want (
Figure 13-25
). Finally, make sure to change the year
slider to check that the label updates.
We can also add a dynamic Year label to the Dashboard by adding the Year data field to
Sheet titles. For example, if we edit the Title of the bar chart on the right, we can insert the
Year field so that if a user moves the slider, the year in the title will change accordingly. This
step is illustrated in
Figure 13-26
.
