In-Depth Information
is 7-3/4 (7.75 ) × 10-3 /16 (10.1875 ) (190 mm × 277 mm). To make the title block fit
while maximizing the printable area of the chosen sheet size, you will need to adjust
its width and height.
The imperial Letter and metric A4 page sizes have slightly different aspect ratios.
As a result, the next exercise has both an imperial and a metric version. Readers
completing their cabin using Imperial units should skip the metric exercise, and
those using metric units should skip the Imperial exercise.
Sizing and Positioning the imperial title Block
Please skip to the “Sizing and Positioning the Metric Title Block” exercise that
follows if you're using metric units. Working in Imperial units, take the follow-
ing steps to make the title block the correct size and position:
1. Use the MOVE command to move the entire title block (including text)
to the right 3 10 , and up 1 16 .
2. Start the STRETCH command, and select the upper portion of the title
block using a crossing window, as shown in Figure 14.5.

3. Pick a base point, use Polar Tracking to move your cursor straight
down, and then enter .2 . This will reduce the overall height of the
title block 0.2 .
4. Erase the outer boundary for your title block, and save it (keeping the
14A-BD8H11.dwg name).
Your title block will look like Figure 14.6.
