The new color swatch appears in the Color Gallery.

You can right-click on the Color Gallery folder (with
the same name as the file), choose Show In Color Line,
and then drag the new color swatch on the Color Line
to the start of the swatches. Doing this makes the color
easier to choose both on the Color Line and in the Color
Editor's drop-down list of colors.
It's often easier to drag a swatch on the Color Gallery to the top to put a color at the far left of
the Color Line instead of trying to perform this action directly on the Color Line, particularly if
you have a large number of local colors on the Color Line.

Click on a different triangle, and then click the named
color on the Color Line to apply the same color as the
first triangle.
Clearly by referencing the image, this second triangle

is a different shade than the first. With the triangle
selected, on the Color Editor, click the bottom drop-
down arrow next to the Normal Color entry, and then
choose Shade Of Another Color. The Color Editor
chooses the first color on the Color Line. Click the drop-
down in the bottom Parent: area of the Color Editor and
choose your named color.
