Be as gentle as possible with the cables you handle, making sure you don't loosen the
wires' connection to the connector plugs. Don't bend or crimp a cable unnecessarily as
doing so could cause a wire inside to break.
Installing Memory
To install memory, fi rst determine where the memory should be placed. If it's a notebook/
portable computer, there may be a panel that you remove from the bottom of the computer,
perhaps with a small screwdriver (see Figure 7.9).
