Browser Customization
Some web pages are written so that they use the same fonts and font sizes on every
computer that displays them, regardless of the browser's settings. Other pages, though,
allow the browser some control over the text sizes and text styles.
By increasing the default font size used for web pages, you can make the text easier to
read for those with vision impairment. You can also choose different fonts and colors that
may be easier to read than others. It's all up to your own preferences.
Another way to increase the readability of a web page is to change the Zoom setting in
the browser. Zooming in on a page enlarges not just the text, but everything else on the
page too, including graphics.

1.
Download and install Firefox from www.mozilla.org if it isn't already installed on your

In Firefox, display this website: http://news.google.com . If that site isn't available,
view some other site that contains a lot of text, so you can see the effect on the text.
3. Choose Tools Options. The Options dialog box opens.
4.
Click the Content icon at the top.
5.
In the Fonts & Colors section, open the Size drop-down list and click one size larger than
the current setting.
6.
Open the Default Font drop-down list, and click Century Schoolbook (or any other font
of your choice).
