You can view and manage the add-ons installed for your browser. The exact steps
vary depending on the browser, but in most cases you can enable or disable an add-on or
remove it entirely. This is important because it gives you the control to stop an add-on that
may be malfunctioning or that may be harmful to your system, causing your browser
to crash.

Viewing the Installed Add-ons in Firefox
1.
Download and install Firefox from www.mozilla.org if it isn't already installed on your
computer.
2. Choose Tools Add-Ons. The Add-ons dialog box opens.

Click the Add-Ons icon. A list of installed add-ons appears.
4.
Click any of the add-ons on the list. A Disable button appears next to it.
5.
Click the Disable button. The button changes to Enable.
6.
Click the Enable button to re-enable that add-on.
7.
Click the Extensions icon. Other add-ons appear.
8.
Click one of the add-ons, and note the buttons available for it. In addition to a Disable
button, there are also Options and Uninstall buttons.
9.
Click the Options button. Examine the options available, and then click Cancel to close
the dialog box without making any changes.
10. Close the Add-ons window, and close the browser.
