Wrapping the Wire
2. Repeat step 1 for the next seven bottom wires, then for the fruiting wires and then
the two sets of positioning wires. Now all your wires are ready to be secured to the
opposite posts.
Installing Wire Gripples
Thread the wire through one side of the Gripple, then wrap it around the end post and
back to the Gripple. Thread the wire through the Gripple in the other direction. Insert
the Gripple into the tool and open the handles.
3a. If using Gripples, thread the end of wire through one hole in the Gripple, wrap
the wire around the opposite end post at the correct height, and then thread it back
through the other hole in the Gripple. Use the Grippler tool to tighten the wire.
3b. If using wire vices, thread the end of each wire through the post, then into the
vice, making sure that the tapered end of the vice goes into the pre-drilled holes.
Tension will hold the wire in place. Pull the wire tight through the wire vice with
pliers or the fencing tool.
