In a HANA system with 1.22 billion rows of data, BO Explorer pop-
ulated data from all rows in 4.3 milliseconds. When drilling down to
400 million rows, data was populated in Explorer in 2.4 seconds.
SAP BusinessObjects Analysis
SAP BusinessObjects Analysis allows users to conduct interactive analysis of data through
its online analytical processing (OLAP) engine. Analysis can be used through two inter-
faces. The Microsoft edition of the interface is a plug-in for Excel and PowerPoint, while a
web interface is available through the BI Launchpad which requires no installation and will
work through any PC which has Java and access to your company's web portal. A sample
of Analysis for OLAP is shown in Figure 3.8.
