BigSheets is fully extensible with respect to its visualization tools. As such,
you can include custom plug-ins for specialized renderings of your data.
The BigInsights Development Environment
As we briefly mentioned earlier in this chapter, one of the main compo-
nents of BigInsights is a set of Eclipse plug-ins that provide a rich devel-
opment environment for creating BigInsights applications. This includes
all of the usability features that you'd typically associate with an inte-
grated development environment (IDE), namely: content completion,
context-sensitive assistance, design-time assistance and error detection, a
