The information about the number of the sent and lost data packages can be easily
fetched from the analyzer hardware. For example, for the AS-interface industrial
network, the analyzer comes with specially dedicated software in which the sent and
lost data packages are shown. In this case, the W T factor is easy to determine, and will
be used for a successive computer implementation process.

2.5 Elaboration of the Diagnostic Aid System
At this stage a software engineer must create an aid system, based on his programming
knowledge, and the information and knowledge gathered at the previous stages (1-4). As an
example of the implementation of the proposed scenario of the diagnostic complex systems
such as machines-network system, the authors provide the SUFINED system (sample view
on Fig. 6) based on the Internet technology, the advantage of which is that one stable
software version “available in the market” (placed on the server), and that the
knowledge of many different experts can be gathered in one place, and immediately
