prepare), is also capable of: assigning the authority of the users during the login
process, reviewing and editing the database of the components, reviewing the basic
parameters of the units, input, editing and evaluating the rules for the reasoning
process, input and editing the new State Features Vectors (SFV) of the machine-
network system, and Decision Variables Vectors (DVV), and executing the inference
process on the basis of the created rules.

2.6 Industrial Network Diagnostic Process

This stage includes:

• description of the industrial network diagnostic procedure based on the

elaborated scenario,

• interpretation of the conclusions drawn from the inference process.

A software engineers should fully describe the created aid system, especially the
data input process, and the right order of inputting the data. A sample of a practical
application of the created SUFINED system is given by the authors in the next
Chapter.

3 SUFINED Software - Sample Implementation

Company “X” is one of the European market leaders in the field of paving stones. The
production process, based on big concrete aggregates evokes the necessity of using
industrial networks such as: Profibus and AS-interface. There was 7 SIEMENS S7-
300 and S7-400 PLC's attending the system. All the PLCs are networked via
