content by clicking the Pencil icon next to each data type and pressing the

to cancel the inserted information.
Through the Metadata panel context menu, you can use the following
features:
• Create a new metadata template, edit the current template, append an
existing template from another location, and replace an existing
template. These commands are the same metadata commands located in
the Tools top menu.
Increase or decrease the font size for the panel.
Edit the preferences of the panel to show or hide speciic data information.
The Keyword panel lets you choose the appropriate keywords for a speciic
image or images. Each group of keywords is categorized in collapsible lists
that allow you to choose a checkbox next to each keyword to add the
image tag.
The Keyword panel's context menu includes the following commands to use
when adding keywords to an image:
• Create a new keyboard or create a subkeyword of a parent keyword.
Rename or delete existing keywords.
Search and ind speciic content based on speciic search criteria.
Import keyword keywords from an external text ile.
The icons at the bottom of the panel allow you to search for keywords,
create new keywords or subkeywords, and delete keywords.
Similar to the metadata information, the keyword information provides an
easy method to organize iles and categorize iles based on speciic
keywords; you can select speciic keywords for each image and later arrange
the iles based on keywords by right-clicking the content area and choosing
Sort > by Keyword.
The keywords are easier to attach to each image, as you just check a box
next to the related keyword or keywords on the Keywords panel. You can use
it for fast sorting. For example, you can categorize all the 3D iles that include
wood materials with the keyword “wood.” Thus, you can ind these iles later
by sorting based on the keyword “wood.”
Though including many details in the metadata ensures better
categorization and image identiication, keywords should be narrow and
unique to allow proper ile management.
You can also view the ile information via the File Info dialog box:
1. Right-click the ile and choose File Info from the menu, or choose File
Info from the File menu. (You can view the ile info with CTRL + I for Win,
CMD + I on the Mac.)
