Printrbot : Printrbot from California makes inexpensive Cartesian FDM printers, as-
sembled or as kits.
Prodways : In 2013 the French listed company Group Gorge acquired 88 % in the 3D print-
er maker Phidias Technologies which was renamed Prodways. Prodways is a quite small
part of Group Gorge and is therefore not included under listed companies. Prodways is a
producer of DLP 3D printers with their own technology branded “Movinglight”. Prodways
mainly target dental applications customers.

Realizer : German Realizer was founded by Dr. Matthias Fockele. His former company
F&S claims to have marketed the first Selective Laser Melting (SLM) machine in 1999.
Realizes produces SLM printers for use in production of jewelry, auto parts, tools, ortho-
pedic implants etc.
Rokit : This is an upcoming Korean company in the field of low-cost FDM printers. The
CEO Yoo Seok-Hwan is a characteristic leader with experience from multinational corpor-
ations who is planning a big future for the company. The moderately priced printers have
claims of 1000mm/sec speed and down to 25 microns resolution.

SeeMeeCNC : Small CNC machining center that started to make and sell delta FDM print-
ers a few years ago. The company markets delta printers like: Orion Delta, Rostock Max,
Droplit and Partdaddy which is over 5 meters with a build volume of approximately 3
meters in height and 1.20 meters in diameter.
Shaanxi Hengtong : Shaanxi Hengtong Intelligent Machine Co, Ltd. is linked to one of Ch-
ina's 3D printing pioneers: Professor Lu Bingheng and Xian Jiaotong University. Shaanxi
Hengtong displays several 3D printers on its website, a couple of stereolithography printers
which is their main focus as well as a FDM printer and a Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)
printer for plastic. However it is hard to find any records of sales or turnover for this com-
pany.
Sharebot : Sharebot is an Italian startup which has an impressive record since the start in
2011. This company has managed to market both a low-cost FDM printer, a DLP printer as
well as a low-cost SLS printer.
