Nanoscribe : Nanoscribe GmbH is a spin-off from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Their Photonic Professional printers use a stereolithography technique, which has been
branded Direct Laser Writing (DLW), to print on a nano-scale level. The printers are able to
print objects measured in micrometers (0.001 mm) and one example of this is Nanoscribe's
show piece of the 1 mm high Eiffel Tower with exquisite details.
Nanjing Zijin-lead Electronics Co., Ltd.: This company has been the OEM manufacturer
for Israeli Solido and its plastic film lamination 3D printer. Solido have had some problems
penetrating the market and was more or less terminated in 2011. In 2014 there were news
that other companies were trying to pick up the pieces (EZ Energy Ltd). Nanjing Zijin-lead
is a member of China's 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance.
Norge : Three Italian guys based in Dover, UK, is behind what has been called the first
low-cost SLS printer. Norge started out in 2014 with a Kickstarter campaign and two SLS
printers: the “Ice1” and “Ice9”.
Norsk Titanium : Norwegian company that offers Direct Metal Deposition printers for pro-
duction of titanium components.

OK International : This is the UK company behind the Quant 3D printers. Quant 3D offers
two desktop FDM printer and the Q1000 which they define as an industrial printer.
Old World Laboratories : OWL produces the “OWL Nano” a moderately priced stereo-
lithography printer aimed at consumers and hobbyists.
Optomec : Optomec is an US company who markets two technologies; Laser Engineered
Net Shaping (LENS) for printing metals and Aerosol jet for printing electronics. The com-
pany is closely linked to Sandia National Laboratories which is owned by Lockheed Martin
and is working for the US military. Sandia invented the LENS technology and Optomec
commercialized it.
