Here is an overview of each of the Select menu commands:

All
—Select the entire photo.
•
Deselect
—Deselect the currently selected area(s). You can also use the keyboard
equivalent command of Command-D (Mac)/Control+D (PC) to initiate this com-
mand.

Reselect
—If you deselect or undo a selection, you can reapply it by choosing
Reselect. This works only if you choose this immediately after undoing a selection.
