Streaming video from the NFL GamePass app to an Apple TV
For apps that don't have an AirPlay button, try using the AirPlay button ( ) in the iOS multi-
tasking dock (double-press the Home button, then scroll to the left until you see the AirPlay button)
to stream to the Apple TV. This works, for example, with the TBS and CW video apps, which have no
AirPlay button of their own.
If that doesn't work, you can try the screen-mirroring feature available in all iPads but the origin-
al model, the fifth-generation (late-2012 model) iPod Touch, and the iPhone 4S and later. But note
that some apps, such as the NBC app, circumvent mirroring, so you can't watch their videos this way
via an Apple TV either.
Here's how to mirror the iOS device's screen:
1. Make sure your Apple TV and iOS device are switched on and connected to the same net-
work.
2. Double-tap the Home button on your iOS device to open the multitasking dock at the bot-
tom of the screen.
3. Swipe left across the row of icons in the dock until you see the AirPlay button (
).
4. Tap the AirPlay button (
) and select your Apple TV from the menu that appears.
