4. Enter a name for your calendar; if the calendar name is not pre-selected for editing, double-
click it so you can edit it.
If other calendar services support multiple calendars, they will appear in the submenu when you
choose File > New Calendar, and any calendars you create for them appear in their section in the Cal-
endar pop-over.
Now, when you create a new calendar event on any of your devices, you can add it to your new
calendar by selecting it from the Calendars pop-over.
Share calendars
You can share your iCloud calendars to keep friends and family informed of your schedule, as
well as create a public calendar that anyone can view.
Anyone who has an iCloud account can edit any private calendars you share with them, making
this a handy way to organize an event or manage a team.
On an iOS device, to privately share a calendar:
1. Launch the Calendar app.
2. Tap the Calendars button.
3. Tap the Edit button.
4. Tap the name of the calendar you want to share.
5. Tap Add Person under the Shared With section (see Figure 7-5).
6. Enter a name from your contacts or an e-mail address.
7. Tap the Add button.
8. Tap the name or e-mail address you added under the Shared With section.
9. Set the Allow Editing switch to On or Off as required.
