When you return from your absence, sign in to iCloud.com, repeat Steps 1 through 3, deselect the
Auto-response option, and click Done.
Use iCloud e-mail forwarding
The iCloud.com website also allows you to forward incoming messages to a different address,
such as to a colleague or family member handling your messages while you are absent.
After signing into your account at the iCloud.com website:
1. Click the Mail button.
2. Click the Settings button (
) and choose Preferences from the pop-up menu that ap-
pears.
3. In the General pane, select the Forward My Email To option and enter the e-mail address
you want to forward the messages to (shown in Figure 6-12).
4. If you want the original messages deleted from your account (a risky option as they'll no
longer be available for reference), also select the Delete Messages after Forwarding option.
5. Click the Done button.
When you return from your absence, sign in to iCloud.com, repeat Steps 1 and 2, deselect the
Forward My Email To option, and click Done.
