Next, we have the Select and Select from Scene controls.
Select can be used if you want to select an object but don't
want to worry about moving the object you are selecting.

Select from Scene is possibly one of the coolest new features
of Max 2008. Autodesk spent a lot of time completely rework-
ing the Select by Name dialog. It's now called the Select from
Scene dialog and it's got lots of awesome little features!
