In-Depth Information
Our recommendations notwithstanding, we realize that for many guests, Disney
souvenirs and memorabilia are irresistible. One of our readers writes:
People have a compelling need to buy Disney stuff at Disneyland. When you get
home, you wonder why you ever got a cashmere sweater with Mickey Mouse em-
broidered on the breast, or a tie with tiny Goofys all over it. Maybe they put
something in the food?
If you don't want to lug your packages around, you can leave them at the inform-
ation stand just inside the front gate and pick them up as you exit the park. Retrieving
your purchases might take a while if you depart after a parade or fireworks show or
at closing, when guests exit en masse. If you're staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel,
your loot will be delivered directly to your resort's bellhop desk (by 7 a.m. the fol-
lowing day) on request. If you have a problem with your purchases or need to make a
return, call Disneyland Exclusive Merchandise at 800-760-3566, Monday-Friday,
8 a.m.-5 p.m. PST. If you return home and realize that you forgot to buy those Rasta-
farian mouse ears or some similarly essential tchotchke, a large selection of park-ex-
clusive merchandise is now available to order at disneyparks.com/store .
