Extruder Placeholder and Z-Axis Rails
You haven't yet built the actual plastic extruder (sometime called the Plastruder), but you're going to
need to add some bolts to the Z-Axis Rail Support (Part K) that will have their heads hidden underneath
the two Strong-Tie rails. It's easier to place these bolts now rather than have to remove the Strong-Tie
brackets later.
Figure 10-1 shows Part K with the three 2-1/2” bolts inserted into the counterbored holes. One hole
was drilled but not used; you'll see why later in the assembly.
