Next, place two 1/4” nuts on each of the bolts. Tighten the first nut down before adding the second
nut on top of the first. Figure 10-2 shows all three bolts with the double-nuts tightened.

Grab a single Strong-Tie bracket along with four each of the 1” #6-32 Phillips round head machine
screws (9/64” diameter), the #6-32 nuts, #6 nylon spacers, and the washers. Figure 10-3 shows this
hardware assembled and ready to use.
