Beginning Assembly
Now it's time to see the efforts of your labor take shape, literally. In this and the next three chapters, we'll
walk you through the process of assembling the basic framework of the 3D printer. The electronics
(including the motors) will come later, but for now you'll need to grab some basic tools such as Philips
and slot screwdrivers (electric/portable versions are even better) and start putting these pieces you've
cut and drilled together.
At the beginning of each of these chapters, we'll provide you with a summary of the hardware you'll
need, including sizes, quantity, length, etc. (If after reading the chapter you have any doubt about what
hardware you need to use, you can always jump on the topic's forum discussion and post your question
there.)
