In-Depth Information
Although we can import animations, this is not as linear as it sounds, because
we have a mediocre control over imported animations. In most cases, the basic
animations that we import are conceivable inside Lumion. Another downside of
importing animations is that we get an infinite loop, and this might raise some issues
while creating a movie.
To know more about how to control these animations, take a look at Chapter 9 ,
Animation Techniques .
The last step is to click on the Add to library button to import the 3D model to the
Import library. We are now back to the Build mode that controls a yellow wireframe
box, and a big white arrow informs us that if we click with the left mouse button, the
3D model will be placed in that exact location.
Click with the left mouse button to place the 3D model, but notice how we still
control the Place object tool. This means that we can carry on placing the same 3D
model over and over, but eventually, we need to stop and control the 3D model.
The best way to do this using the Move object tool is by pressing the M key. If we
need to place the 3D model again, do we have to import it again? No, because all
the 3D models imported, even from other scenes, are saved in the Import library.
This library can be accessed by clicking on the Change object button, as shown in
the following screenshot:
