hotels, large tourist attractions and with transport

highly paid sector, although well-paid jobs are
available for people with the right skills, attitude
and experience. Jobs in public sector tourism, for
example tourist boards and local authority tourism
departments, tend to be better paid and tend to
have better conditions of employment;

Job perks - the extra benefi ts on offer in travel
and tourism often compensate for the low pay
levels in some jobs. This could be anything from
free accommodation with a hotel job or discounts
on admission prices at attractions to cheap fl ights
