The resort unfurls amid tropical flower gardens on the rocks just above the sea. Long Bay
glows to the south, palms sway above and waves crash endlessly. The rooms are just OK,
but the huge, dark-wood
cabañas
with soaring ceilings, Spanish-tiled floor, ceiling fan,
leather sofa and queen-sized bed are fabulous.

the time of writing, this elegant place on Long Bay promises to lift the luxury bar on the
island. It offers spacious suites with 4m sliding glass doors, sofas, plasma screens and wa-
ter views from the king-sized beds. The rooftop lounge is spectacular. It's all class - ex-
cept for the monkey on a rope.
