Miniature Golf
Miniature Golf , West Bay Road in front of the Hyatt Regency, Seven Mile
Beach,
345-949-1474. Don't have the time or skills to tackle one of
Cayman's golf courses? This fun mini-golf course might be a good alterna-
tive (and it's very popular with the younger travelers). The course has a
jungle theme complete with elephants and even a waterfall.
In the Water
Scuba
Just beyond the sand, much of Seven Mile Beach drops off into
spectacular dive sites. For a list of dive operators on Grand
Cayman, see pages 71-73.
Spanish Anchor : This dive site, located at the northern end of Seven
Mile Beach, is named for the old anchor that's seen embedded in coral
here.
The Aquarium : With a name like The Aquarium, this 30- to 50-foot dive
has to be good. Look for a wide variety of fish off the upper end of Seven
Mile Beach. Goatfish, snapper, parrotfish, and more await on this begin-
ner's dive.
Paradise Reef: Just north of the wreck of the Oro Verde , this 40- to 50-foot
dive is the home of “Fang,” a large dog snapper seen by many divers.
