mind the name, the menu has been cleared of rodents. This atmospheric wood-beamed
restaurant and cafe serves sandwiches, pasta, and coffee for breakfast and dinner but is
closed for lunch. It also has a book exchange, darts, a bar and music; it's a top spot to
hang out, especially on the upstairs balcony with fireplace and plaza views. Find it above

in town and has lots of breakfast options (pancakes!), pizzas and pasta - all in an inviting
and cheerful art-covered space. Daily menus are good value.
Cafetería El Turista $
(San Martín 1127; breakfast S4-10; 6:30am-noon & 5-8pm) A great place to grab an
early breakfast, this tiny little cafe is a one-woman show run by the exuberant Maria.
She'll talk your ear off about your travels and hers.
