4. Choose the arrow button located next to Texture ; a flyout is displayed. Choose Fresnel
from the flyout. Next, enter 13 in the Mix Strength spinner.
5. Make sure the Chair group is expanded in the Object Manager. Make sure the Chair
mat material is selected in the Material Manager and drag the cursor on Chair > cube.1 ,
Chair > Subdivision Surface > cube, and Chair > Subdivision Surface > cube.1 in the
Chair group; the Chair mat material is applied to them, as shown in Figure P2-15.

6. Select the Steel material from the Material Manager and drag the cursor on the Extrude
NURBS , Extrude NURBS.1 , Extrude NURBS.2 , and Cube.2 of the Chair group.
7. Make sure that the Steel material is selected in the Material Manager and drag the cursor
on Clock in the Object Manager; the texture is applied to the Clock .
Applying Texture to the Lights
In this section, you will apply texture to the lights.
1. In the Material Manager choose Create > Load Material Preset > Visualize > Materi-
als > Metal > Chrome from the main menu in the Material Manager menu; the Chrome
is added to the Material Manager.
