2. In the Object Manager, expand the
Lights.1
and
Lights
group. Next, select the
Chrome
material in the Material Manager and drag the cursor to
Light1
in the
Lights.1
group.
Similarly, assign the
Chrome
materials to
Light1
in
Lights
group of the Object Manager.
3. Double-click on the empty area in the Material Manager; a new material is created in the
Material Manager. Next, rename it as
Cover
.
4. Make sure the
Color
button is chosen in the Attribute Manager. In the
Color
area, set
the parameters as follows:

5. Make sure that the
Cover
material is selected in the Material Manager. Drag the cursor
on
Cover1
in the
Lights.1
group; the texture is applied to
Cover1
. Similarly, assign
the
Cover
material to
Cover1
in the
Lights
group of the Object Manager. Now, press
CTRL+R; the rendered scene is displayed. Notice that the materials are applied to the
Lights
and
Light.1
groups and are displayed in the rendered scene, as shown in Figure
P2-16.
