In this section, you will create the mattress.
1. Choose
Create > Object
from the main menu; a cascading menu is displayed. Next,
choose
Cube
from it; a cube is created in the Perspective viewport and
Cube
is added to
the Object Manager. Rename
Cube
as
Mattress
in the Object Manager.
2. In the Attribute Manager, choose the
Object
button. In the
Object Properties
area, set
the parameters as follows:
Size . X:

Size . Y:
26
Size . Z:
190
Select the
Fillet
check box and enter
6
in the
Fillet Radius
spinner.
3. In the Attribute Manager, choose the
Coord
button; the
Coordinates
area is displayed.
In this area, set the parameters as follows:

Next, you will group
Mattress
and
Base.
4. In the Object Manager, select
Mattress
and
Base
using the SHIFT key and then right-
click; a shortcut menu is displayed. Choose
Group Objects
from the shortcut menu; a
Null
group is created in the Object Manager. Rename
Null
as
Bed
.
