Tours
The Ljubljana Tourist Information Centre ( Click here ) organises a number of guided
tours of the city and even has a digital tour guide (€10) taking in 17 sights and lasting
about two hours.
A glass-enclosed vessel offers guided one-hour English-language boat tours (adult/
child €10/5; sailings 10am, 11am & 1pm, hourly 5-8pm) on the Ljubljanica River, de-
parting from near the little Ribji trg Pier along Cankarjevo nabrežje.
Segway Tours Ljubljana ( 041 683 184; www.segway-slovenia.com ) , run by Bled-
based 3glav Adventures ( Click here ) , will have you seeing the capital at a different level
altogether - from a two-wheeled, self- balancing electric-powered conveyance. Two-hour
tours (€65) of up to eight people depart at 10am and 2pm daily; see the website for exact
departure points.
Festivals & Events
Ljubljana is at its most vibrant in July and August during the so-called Summer in the
Old Town season, when there are four or five free cultural events a week in the city's his-
toric squares, courtyards and bridges.
Druga Godba
( http://festival.drugagodba.si ; May-Jun) This festival of alternative and world music
takes place in the Križanke from late May to early June.
WORLD MUSIC
Ljubljanska Vinska Pot
(Ljubljana Wine Route; www.ljubljanskavinskapot.si ; Jun) Held on a Saturday in June,
this event brings wine makers from around the country to central Ljubljana, where visitors
spend the day wandering around sampling the offerings.

Ana Desetnica International Street Theatre Festival

early July, this festival is not to be missed.
Ljubljana Festival
